Product: Hp 477dw

Hello. Just bought an hp 477dw pagewide

 

I had it working but went to pull on tray 2 and it felt stuck, I gave it a little tug and it came out but I found this spring and plastic guide or?? 

After that it won't load the paper and says check guides.

 

Can anyone help with how to put these back on or should I just take it back and exchange it?

If the device is brand new, get the tray replaced. There are times to mess around with things and times when you take the path of least resistance. A warranty covered machine is the time to take the path of least resistance.
