I am trying to use ADF to scan documents to a PDF file and keep getting a Paper Jam error.  I don't see a jam and I can't get rid of the error.  Pressing OK on the printer display does nothing.

Thanks for getting back to me! I tried the 5 recommended steps.  But I keep getting the same false paper feed jam.  This is something that I never ever got to make it work.  I tried originally when we originally got the printer.  I gave up because my wife thought she only wanted to use it as a printer.  Now she is asking me if I can make it work.

Thanks again for trying,

Max

Garp_senchau,

Thanks for trying.  But I wasn't able to speak to an authorized service center near me.  They only deal in computer issues and data recovery issues.  HP support agent I spoke with only wanted to sell me another printer.

Hey @Max45040

Thank you for your response

I recommend that you reset the printer to its factory defaults. By doing this, all of the data will be deleted, and you can start the unit over.

You may refer to this guide: Restore factory defaults on your HP printer | HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
