Welcome to the HP User Community.

Without knowing the model, we cannot look up the information for you.

In General

  • Printers that support the longer paper size might have a tray that opens on the front end to accommodate the paper.
  • Not all printers accept 8x14 - those that do likely do so using a custom paper size form.

  • The answer you seek is located in the printer's User Guide
  • The related answer - what paper sizes / types are supported - might be found in the printer Specifications document

What to do?

Answer

Learn how to Load Paper

Open the Homepage for your printer > Product Home

Open Category Manuals

Open the User Guide

Look for the section about  "Load Paper" or "Load Media" (possibly chapter 2)

Verify your printer supports the paper size

Open Category Product Information

If the Specifications document is not already listed,

Open Sub-Category Specifications

Open the Specifications document for your printer

Look for and Open Paper Handling > Open Paper Tray Capacities (wording / name varies)

Look for the supported paper list for standard and custom paper types
