Hi @bbqman7,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

Assembling the paper tray and lid for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e should be straightforward. Here’s how to do it step by step:

Locate the Paper Tray and Lid Parts:
Make sure you have both the main paper tray (usually a rectangular tray with adjustable paper guides) and the tray lid, which helps keep dust off the paper.

Attach the Lid to the Paper Tray:
Position the lid over the back part of the paper tray. Slide or clip it into place, depending on the design. It should click in securely if done correctly.

Insert the Paper Tray into the Printer:
Slide the assembled paper tray into the printer’s front loading slot until it clicks. You might need to adjust the guides inside to fit the paper size you’ll be using.

Adjust Paper Guides:
Pull out the paper guides inside the tray to align with the size of the paper. Ensure that the guides lightly touch the paper’s edges without bending it.

Load Paper and Close the Tray Lid:
Place a stack of paper inside the tray, then close the lid to keep the paper covered.

This should complete the assembly of your OfficeJet Pro 8025e paper tray and lid.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
