The HP OfficeJet 9020 Pro is displaying a "Close Tray 2" error despite the paper tray is locked in and present. The printer tray may have been pulled out too roughly and snapped off the piece of plastic on the tray acting as the trigger for the printer's open/close trigger. I attached the error messages and what the printer tray looks like.

I want to replace the tray without buying an entirely new printer. Does HP offer these replacement parts or do I need to go through a third-party seller? Top Profile of ModelTop Profile of ModelSide ProfileSide ProfileError MessageError MessageGeneral Error MessageGeneral Error Message

Go to the below site and enter your serial number and look for the tray you need

https://partsurfer.hp.com/

You could also look for an HP part number on the tray and lookup that part number at the above site and also ebay

Personally I would use fiberglass epoxy type adhesive with fiberglass cloth for backing
