I have troubleshooted this to no end. I have opened all access doors to check for jam, removed cartridges, ensured carriage moves freely, did a hard reset by unplugging and holding power for 30 seconds, left unplugged for several minutes. warranty is void so I opened up the printer entirely, removed any debris found, wiped down the carriage rail with a soft microfiber and alcohol as suggested online, ensured there were no obstructions, put it back together. It printed a wireless quick start guide from the settings menu and then the carriage jam message came back up. HELP

You've already done a thorough job troubleshooting—well done! Here are a few more things to try: Check the carriage latch, as an unsecured one can trigger errors. Clean the encoder strip (thin, transparent strip behind the carriage) if it's dirty or misaligned. Perform a factory reset following your printer’s manual instructions. Update the firmware to see if there's a fix in a newer version. If none of these work, the issue may be with the printer's internal sensors or logic board, and a repair shop might be your best option.
