Carriage jam

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP printer Envy 5070.  During setup, it gives me a Carriage Jam error.  There is nothing blocking the carriage.  The carriage will not move manually.  There are no cartridges in the carriage.  I have tried the hard reboot and still nothing works.  This printer is still in warranty.

If you have already performed the steps from the document 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
