Hi @MistaYu,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

Hi, it sounds like your printer has a "False Paper Jam" caused by a stuck sensor flag or a microscopic piece of debris that you can't see during a normal check. Since the paper always stops in the exact same spot, it is hitting a physical obstruction or triggering a "timing error" because a roller is slipping.

  1. The "Thick Paper" Trick: With the printer turned off and unplugged, take a piece of heavy cardstock or a folded piece of thick paper and manually push it through the paper path from the input tray toward the output. This often dislodges tiny scraps or "resets" a stuck plastic sensor flag that a normal sheet of paper is too weak to move.
  2. Deep Roller Cleaning: Even if the rollers look clean, they can develop a "glossy" build-up that makes them lose grip halfway through a page. Use a cotton swab dampened with distilled water to scrub the gray rollers while rotating them manually. If the rollers feel smooth like plastic instead of "tacky" like rubber, they need to be cleaned more aggressively to regain their grip.
  3. Check the "Cleanout" Door: Many HP printers have a hidden panel on the bottom or back (sometimes called a duplexer or cleanout door). Lay the printer on its side and open this door specifically to check for a small object like a paperclip or staple that may have fallen into the gears.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀
