HP OfficeJet Pro 9012e All-in-One Printer

Hi I am trying to print and cut from cricut design space on printable shrink plastic, it will print it but not in the right  place, if I switch the media type to copy paper it will print in the correct place, yet the settings are all the exact same, the papers are the exact same size and my first initial print was on the shrink plastic and it printed perfectly but now not at all I've wasted a full pack of this and it just won't. Can someone help please ?

  • Ensure your printer settings match the media type of your printable shrink plastic. Even if settings are the same, different materials can sometimes cause misalignment issues. Double-check that you’ve selected the correct media type for the shrink plastic.

2. Reprint and Recut

Ensure Proper Setup:

  • Make sure you’re following the correct process for print and cut. This involves printing your design with a registration mark, which the Cricut machine uses to detect the edges of the printable material.

Test with Regular Paper:

  • To rule out issues with the Cricut machine, do a test run with regular copy paper. This will help you determine if the issue is with the Cricut machine’s alignment or with the shrink plastic.
