D2560, resume light keep blinking even no paper jam

This D2560 is an old color inkjet printer got from my son, trying to make it work. Had new cartridges in, however the resume light keep blinking. I am sure there is no paper in the printer and tried many times of power off and unplug power cord. The resume light still comes back blinking after touching the button again. Please help. Thanks
