I have just spent 2 hours with Vincent from Support.  He really tried to help me and we were able to actually print two 4x6 postcards on this printer after foolling with Drivers and changed from glossy to plain paper and rebooting everything.  Seems like it shouldln't have taken so long.   After I hung up I tried 6 times to print a postcard. Everyone failed.  Either with an E4 error or simply coming out blank.  It seems to feed the card under a plastic thing under the print heads.  That plastic  thing gets all the ink.

My conclusion is that either mine is broken, but I have spent all the time I am going to on the phone.  Or this printer just doesn't do heavy stock....although specs say up to 100lb stock.

Anyone solved this either with this printer or another small all in one printer??????
Thanks

Alex

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

What's the weight of the postcard you're using?

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
