Double sided printing - PAPER JAM

Hi, I have enjoyed my printer for many years printing double sided, now lately I am getting a lot of paper jams when printing double sided. Usually on the uptake of printing of the second side, just before printing side 2 I get a jam. One side is blank and the other fully printed. I need to remove tray 2, drop the duplex and remove the jammed page, any suggestions will be helpful!

I would like to strip the printer and remove all of the rollers to clean them but it looks complicated and intimidating!

Cleaning rollers may or may not fix the problem. There are known issue with duplexing become less stable as the fusers age.

Thanks Repairatrooper, next question, in your opinion, is it worth my effort replacing the fuser, and if so where do I buy one and where do I find a video how to replace it? [I am guessing my printer is 10 years old or so, and I have been printing about 20 pgs a day]? If not can you recommend another model that is reliable?

I have tried to remove the fuser, once side comes out, but the  other seems to be catching, so I left it...after giving it a good wipe, I have found a bit of a work-around, if I feed individual pages into my tray 1, area it goes a little bit slower, but it prints x2 sided without jamming.
