I have Envy 6055e printer with paper jam, paper has ripped and small piece is under rollers.  I can open the printer and see the graphic on left side.  I can remove the piece in graphic step 1 but am confused about steps 2 and 3.  How can I remove the rollers?  They do not seem to lift out.  Have tried tweezers but these just rip off small pieces.  Thanks very much, Martin

Hi @MartinWick,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry, but I don't have specific information on removing rollers from the HP Envy 6055e printer. Paper jams can be tricky to resolve, especially when small pieces get stuck in hard-to-reach areas. However, here are some general steps you might follow to help with the issue:

Turn Off the Printer: Ensure the printer is turned off and unplugged before attempting any maintenance.

Carefully Inspect the Printer: Look inside the printer for any visible pieces of paper and gently remove them using your fingers.

Use Tweezers with Caution: When using tweezers, be very gentle to avoid ripping the paper further or damaging internal components. Try to grip the paper as firmly as possible to pull it out completely.

Access from the Rear Panel: If your printer has a rear access door or panel, open this to see if you can reach the paper from the back.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

Yes, thanks very much, Jerry, I was able to turn over the printer and access from bottom, a small piece of paper was ripped off and I got it with tweezers.  Martin

Hi @MartinWick,

Nicely done—pulling out that hidden scrap with tweezers must have felt like clearing a tiny pebble from the gears, letting the printer breathe and run smoothly again. Thanks for sharing your fix!
