After successful printing one page, I now get a paper jam alarm. The printer has no paper jam, I reset it several times  (switch off and disconnect the power cable) I also cleaned the complete paper way. what else can I do? I live in Mexico and do not have any workshop near me. Does anybody know, where I can get a service manual for this printer? I am an electronic engineer and with a service manual I maybe can fix this problem. Thank you for your help! Hans

Hi @Hjuergen,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Photosmart 7345 is showing a false paper jam error after printing one page, even though there is no paper stuck. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Perform a full power reset
Turn the printer on, then unplug the power cable from the rear while it is still on.
Wait at least 60 seconds, reconnect the cable directly to a wall outlet, and power it back on.

Check and clean the paper pickup rollers
Remove all paper from the tray and use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water to clean the visible rubber rollers.
Rotate the rollers gently to clean the entire surface and allow them to dry completely.

Inspect the paper path and rear access area
Open the rear access door and look carefully for small scraps of paper, labels, or debris.
Even tiny fragments can trigger a false jam sensor.

Check the paper path sensors
Using a flashlight, inspect inside the printer for small black plastic flags or levers along the paper path.
Gently move them with a non-metallic tool to ensure they are not stuck or obstructed.

Verify paper type and tray alignment
Use plain, clean paper and avoid overfilling the tray.
Adjust the paper guides so they lightly touch the edges of the stack without bending it.

I hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for your answer, but I already tried all solutions from this forum. No success! I have removed the complete cover from the printer and made a intensive cleaning of all accessible parts. What I need to know is, where (and how) to find the paper jam sensor(s). As I said, I'm an electronic engineer with over 40 years in maintenance.  I think I can fix this problem, if I have the right information. Unfortunately I can not find a service manual for this printer. So, if somebody can help with a service manual or can explain where to find this sensors for checking (cleaning), would be very helpful. Thanks and best regards Hans.
