Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Laserjet Pro MFP 479dw. I recently got an error message for Paper Jam and asked to open the real door to remove it. However, I could not find the paper. I found an instruction for the same issue provided by Mr. Jeet Singh on this issue. I followed the instruction. However, it did not work. On the instruction, he also mentioned "Advance Reset.". I wonder if he can send me the instruction. Thank you.

It's possible you can "fix" the problem by adding paper to the tray. I've had the same experience with a couple of different HP laser printers, both at home and at work: If there's not enough paper in the tray, due to wear, the printer can't feed the next sheet and reports a non-existent paper jam. Annoying but if you simply keep the tray full it won't happen again. I hope this helps.

This printer design is notorious for fuser wrap jams that are impossible to see without removing the fuser unit from the printer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w09zPfJz3lo
