Product: HP Desk Jet 3755

I just replaced my ink and I am getting an error 3 message on my DeskJet 3755.  HP smart app says that the ink cartridge carriage is stalled.  Is there anything I can do to fix that? When I open the front of the printer the ink cartridges are to the left and they don't move to the center.  I have gone through the virtual assistant and they can't help me.  What can I do? The printer is outside of the warranty, but I have barely used it.
