HP ENVY Photo 6220

HI there,

Just needing some help with my printer, i have recently purchased some photo paper and its not the hp branded photo paper, but the brand of the photo paper ive purchased is called Krisp, now when i try to print any kind of photo on this photo paper it doesnt work just feeds its through and says the paper tray is empty, even tried both trays doesnt pick it up at all, but if i used the hp photo paper it works straight away, i have full ink color and black, there isnt any paper jams, i want to just be able to print pictures of my family on this photo paper krisp and dont want to have wasted my money, is there something in the settings you can change so it will print on it or what is the solution for me to be able to fix this so i can print photos on this photo paper?

Hi @Jawz93,

I'd like to help!

To assist better-

  1. What are the size and weight of the paper you are using?
  2. What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?
  3. How is the printer connected to your device Wifi or USB?
  4. What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android, or an iPhone?

Check printer specifications to know the supported paper size and type

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
