Printing from Tray 1 is fine but Error 13.B2.D2 (Paper Jam in tray 2) happens repeatedly when printing from Tray 2

Actions already performed

*Remove tray 2 and any form of paper jam

*Firmware upgraded

*Components (tray and rollers) swapped from another working printer.

Issue still persists after all the actions performed.

Any help with resolution will be appreciated.

Replace the pickup and separation roller. Make sure the new Sep roller has a black shaft on the upper roller not a white shaft.

Thank you for your response.

The pickup and separation rollers were replaced from another working printer but the issue persists.

The pickup and separation rollers were from the faulty printer were fixed in the working printer and the printer works fine.

NOTE:

Please provide some clarity on what you meant by Sep roller has a black shaft on the upper roller not a white shaft

Question: Is the error constant, that is, present from when you power on the machine or do you have to try to print to get the error to come up? Were there any paper jams just before this error started happening. Is there any paper jammed anywhere? Does the paper get grabbed at all? One way to check is to put a small dot of white liquid paper or a feltpen mark on the side of the roller and install to see if the roller is turning at all.
