Hi I've found peole have asked the similar question, what's the thickest paper this printer can handle?
I've checked the manual pdf and it says Photopaper: 300g/m2
Is that accurate? Will I able to print a 250gsm bristol board?

Apologies for jumping in unannounced.
I believe @Valsimot is correct about the maximum photo weight paper.
Yes, the manual indicates that the printer handles 300 gsm photo paper.
All other documentation I can find, including the public Datasheet for this model, indicates that the printer supports "HP Advanced Photo papers" and maximum weight (of photo paper) at 250 gsm (66lb).
What else?
If the Bristol paper is "Photo paper" then it is supported at 250 gsm.
If the Bristol paper is "Card paper", then it is not supported at weight 250 gsm .
Cards: Up to 200 g/m2 (110 lb Index maximum)
Note: Index paper is manufactured at an ISO standard for paper type / weight.
Example
Media Types | Plain; HP EcoFFICIENT; HP Premium Presentation Matte 120g; HP Tri-fold Brochure Glossy 180g; HP Brochure Matte 180g; HP Brochure Glossy 180g; HP Advanced Photo Papers; Light 60-74g |
Media Weight Recommended (imperial) | 16 to 28 lb, bond |
Media Weight Recommended (metric) | 60 to 105 g/m² |
What?
The limitations are not "just the weight" - support is provided for different paper types (Media) and within those types for certain paper weights. In addition, different paper types are manufactured to different ISO standards depending the paper type. Example - some of the paper types: Index, Text, Cover, Bond

One other thing to consider is the finish of the surface. Typically it will be either plate or vellum, with plate being almost glass like, which might present feeding issues with the rollers unable to traction on the smooth surface.

Thanks for the update.
"Pushing or "shoving" paper is not generally recommended to get the paper to feed into the rollers / printer.
Could come back and bite later.
That said,
This is a fairly robust printer .
If works and you are happy, then it is "all good", in my opinion.
I do not usually get between what is recommended and what people choose to do.
Smiling.
Happy Printing.
