HP OfficeJet Pro 8028e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have tried every method to pull out paper that was sucked back into printer, and is tightly under all the rollers and metal.

This is probably the reason the Ink Cartridge Carrier is stuck to the right - I cannot move it at all.

The printer needs to be given instructions to lift up some of the rollers, etc, but because there is a "paper jam" on the control panel, it won't do anything.

Does this mean I will have to ditch the printer altogether?

(I have tried unplugging, etc all the steps on the website, but because I can't pull the paper out, the printer will not reset or operate the Ink Cartridge Carrier.)

Thanks for any ideas that might help.
