Instructions say to load cardstock in through the back, but it's not clear how to do that, and when I go to settings, Cardstock is not an available paper option.

Welcome to the HP Community --

The printer does not support heavy Card Stock.

The printer supports a lighter-weight card paper type - Index paper at 200 gsm.

HP might refer to this paper type as "HP Card" or "Index".

The printer might support one or more sizes of Card or Index paper.

  • Load Paper
  • Alert the printer to the paper size / type - Tray and Paper
  • Update / Adjust / Verify the Source (Tray) and Paper Size / Type in your application or software
