Hi @windowsclueless,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand all the lights on your HP printer are flashing, and it is stuck on the last print job. This indicates that the printer has encountered a hardware error. Here are the steps you should follow to try and resolve this issue:

Restart the Printer:

  • Unplug the power cord from the printer.

  • Wait for about 10 seconds.

  • Plug the power cord back into the printer.

  • Turn on the printer by pressing the Power button.

Verify Cartridge Installation:

  • Ensure that the print cartridges are correctly installed. Misplaced or incorrectly installed cartridges can cause such errors.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Ensure there are no paper jams by checking inside the printer, including the rear access door. Even if you've already checked this, it's worth double-checking, as small pieces of paper can be difficult to notice.

Reseat the Print Cartridges:

  • Open the printer's top cover and remove the cartridges.
  • Reinsert the cartridges, making sure they click into place securely. Check to confirm that the part numbers are correct for your printer.

Examine for Errors via Printer Screen:

  • If your printer has a display screen, check for any error messages that might indicate the cause of the problem.

Firmware Update:

  • Ensure the printer firmware is up to date. Visit https://support.hp.com/us-en  to download and install any available firmware updates.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
