HP Recommended

A teacher has a LJ 1606 printer and she is using a MBA running Sequoia.  The printer is connected via IP address. When she prints a 4 page Word document, the printer will print page 1, blank, page 2, blank, and so on.   The print preview shows 4 pages.  However, when she prints the same document DOUBLE sided, it prints fine and no issues. 

 

I have removed the printer and readded it with the same result.  I tried it on my computer with the same result.  

 

How do I fix it?
