Product: HP LaserJet Pro 400 color MFP M475dw

M475dw LaserJet PRO 400 Color MFP unit keeps displaying a message "Jam in tray 1. Clear jam and then press [OK]". The thing is I have never used tray 1 to load paper. So there is no paper jammed inside anywhere.  Paper only loads from the lower paper 2 tray.  Tried resetting the unit by unplugging while powered up, plugging back in-no change.  Reset settings to default factory-nothing.  It just displays the jam message and won't print anything. Checked the event log. 

 

Shows 2 codes:  13.0000 Paper Jam and 54.2100 BD (beam detect) error.

Apparently a sensor malfuntion? Anymore specific information would be appreciated. Would like to get this thing working again...Thanks.
