Bought this printer yesterday. It came with the paper tray fully inserted. After taking it out and adding paper, the paper tray cannot be fully inserted, even if I push it hard. About 3 inches (8 cm) protrude. The printer works and feeds papers w/o problem, but this is very annoying. I have seen several other complaints about this but no answers. Surely it should be possible to fully insert the paper tray?

Thank you for your completely useless answer. You ask "Were there any changes made to your PC recently?". How is this relevant for my printer problem? I assume this is a standard answers, the purpose of which is to get rid of as many users as possible.
I have now figured out that the printer works as designed. Without paper, the tray can be contracted if you release a lever and then it can be fully inserted, as when the printer was shipped. But filled with A4 paper, it will always protrude 3 inches. This is not mentioned in your marketing material.
