I keep trying to print but every time I do my printer jams. I am able to clear it from the back but it jams again and I have checked everything.

Hi @Mariaht

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Printer jams can be frustrating! Let’s troubleshoot this together.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check the Paper Quality: Ensure that the paper you're using is of the correct size, weight, and type for your printer. Avoid wrinkled or damaged paper.

Examine the Paper Tray: Make sure the paper is properly aligned and not overfilled in the tray. Double-check if the tray’s guides are snug against the paper stack.

Inspect the Rollers: Open the printer and clean the paper rollers gently with a lint-free cloth dampened with water. Dust or debris on the rollers can cause jams.

Check for Obstructions: Ensure there are no small bits of paper or foreign objects left inside the printer after clearing previous jams.

Use Printer Settings: Confirm that your print settings match the type of paper and the task you're printing (like selecting "heavy paper" or "envelope" if applicable).

Update the Printer’s Software: Sometimes outdated firmware or drivers can lead to printing issues. Download the latest updates from HP's official website.

Look for Worn-Out Parts: If the printer has been in heavy use for a long time, some parts like rollers might need replacing.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
