Hi @JHLK,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

I understand that you are getting out of paper error.

Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved.

Check the paper, and then reload it

  • Check the paper stack for defects such as wrinkled, torn, or bent pieces that might cause a pick-up issue.
  • Remove any paper from the paper tray.
  • Remove any severely bent, wrinkled, or torn paper found in the stack.
  • Check for obstructions inside the paper tray. Make sure nothing blocks the paper from engaging with the rollers.
  • Make sure the paper stack is even on all sides.
  • Load the stack of paper into the paper tray.

Examples of loading paper

  • Close or push in the paper tray.
  • Select the correct paper size on the printer control panel or in the printer software.

Click here for the remaining steps.

Try updating the firmware. Click here.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hello, I did all of that, but I have fixed it.

For anyone who needs to know, all I did was completely

take it out of my computer and re-install.

No problems since.

I did this the last time my newer HPIFA3C53 HP OfficeJet Pro 8139e series did this but now it is giving me the same message although the paper tray is full.  I tried cleaning and still have the error message.  Tried removing it to reinstall but now the driver is unavailable.  Any ideas to locate the correct driver - I have not been able to locate the driver within my computer
