I can see the paper jam and as the paper is printing, it jams in the corner where a small bit of paper is inaccessible. Why the hell do these companies build these printers so you can't get to a jam and unblock it. I have tried everything and this will probably be my last HP product.

Depending on exactly where the jam is, sometimes you can get the bit of paper out by flossing the paper path. This is done by getting either a heavier piece of paper or thin cardboard, or thin mylar like a plastic ruler. Use this to push the bit of paper out. You always want to push in the normal direction of travel to prevent damage to sensor flags. That said, in some cases if you are sure you are not going to hang on a sensor, push the mylar in next to the jammed bit of paper and then pull back, forcing the mylar against the paper so it gets pulled out. Failing that, in some cases disassembly is the only solution. Many smaller printers from all vendors are this bad, this is not limited to HP products.
