Hi @Jerome00

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Ink Tank 115 is experiencing frequent paper jams, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

Check for Obstructions:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Open the printer cover and check for any torn pieces of paper or foreign objects that may be causing the jam. Remove any obstructions carefully.

Check Paper Quality:

  • Ensure that you are using the correct type and size of paper recommended for your printer.
  • Make sure the paper is not wrinkled, folded, or damaged.

Adjust Paper Guides:

  • Adjust the paper guides in the input tray to match the width and length of the paper. Ensure that the guides are snug against the paper but not too tight.

Fan the Paper:

  • Before loading the paper into the tray, fan the stack of paper to prevent sheets from sticking together. This helps ensure proper paper separation during printing.

Reload Paper:

  • Remove the paper from the input tray and reload it, making sure it is properly aligned and not overloaded. Adjust the paper guides accordingly.

Clean the Rollers:

  • Clean the paper feed rollers. Dust and debris on the rollers can cause feeding problems.
  • Consult your printer manual for instructions on how to clean the rollers. Typically, you can use a lint-free cloth and distilled water.

Update Firmware/Driver:

  • Ensure that your printer firmware and drivers are up to date. Visit the HP official website to download the latest firmware and drivers for your printer model.

Paper Sensor Check:

  • Some printers have sensors that detect paper jams. Check if there's any sensor in the paper path and ensure it is not blocked or malfunctioning.

Use Supported Paper:

  • Ensure you are using paper that is supported by your printer. Check the printer's manual or specifications for the recommended paper types and weights.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve minor glitches.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
