Hi All,
Last time I opened my OfficeJet 9129e printer, I found this part in my hand. Does anyone know where this part should be installed?
I’m getting frequent paper jams when doing duplex scanning, and I think the missing part might be the reason.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mario

Google lens identifies it as likely an ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) hinge component or an internal cover/guide for the paper path in your printer.

You will need to watch one or more dissemble videos and try to spot that part.

Here is one but you might use google or bing to find other youtube videos.

Our printer expert @Repairatrooper might know.
