HP OfficeJet Pro 8125e All-in-One Printer

Hi,

The paper jammed in my printer & after following the online instructions, I managed to get some of the paper from where the paper tray is & some from the top where the ink is situated but there is still some jammed in it that I cant find a way of getting to it.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Annie

Hi @Annie0315

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like you've done a thorough job clearing most of the jam, but that last stubborn piece is still causing trouble. Here are a few additional steps that might help:

Check the Paper Path Cover

  • Some HP printers have a removable paper path cover inside the print zone. If yours does, carefully lift it and check for any hidden scraps of paper.

Use a Flashlight

  • Sometimes, small pieces of paper get stuck deep inside the rollers. A flashlight can help you spot any remaining bits.

Manually Move the Carriage

  • If the printer allows it, gently slide the ink carriage to the left and right to check for obstructions.

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes reset the internal mechanisms.

Check HP’s Official Guide

  • HP has a detailed troubleshooting page for paper jams here, and they also have a helpful video guide here.

Let me know how it goes!
