Hi @Nelbass,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reattach the paper tray cover on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8020, follow these steps.

  • Align the Tray: Make sure the paper tray is pulled out slightly from the printer.
  • Position the Cover: Take the paper tray cover and align it with the front of the tray. There should be small slots or clips on both sides of the cover that need to fit into corresponding slots or hooks on the tray.
  • Snap It Into Place: Gently press down on the cover, ensuring it clicks or snaps back into place. If the cover has hooks or latches, make sure they are securely engaged.
  • Test the Tray: Once the cover is in place, slide the tray back into the printer and check if it fits securely and works as expected.

If you find that the cover won't fit, double-check if there's any obstruction or if the cover is oriented incorrectly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
