Has anyone found a way to extend the paper exit tray on the 8139e so that it doesn't curl the paper coming out anytime the humidity's over about 20%?  Thanks.

Typical indoor humidity varies by global location and indoor conditions.

Example - Our home office - Inside humidity - West Coast USA - A bit Inland from the Pacific coast > 49%

In our area, 20% might be considered very dry -- but sure, it depends on what is normal for your locale.

If the humidity is too high regardless of numbers, measurements, and examples offered by documents and strangers,

and

If the printer hardware is operating within specification (not broken, out of alignment, other mechanical issues),

and

If the paper is not too thin, thin and recycled, possibly prone to "curl" due to paper type / manufacture,

and

If the paper is indeed curling due to humidity ,

then

Perhaps try a (much) heavier paper to counteract the "curl effect".

For example,

The printer supports HP Professional / Brochure Paper at 32lb / 180 gsm.

I use HP Professional paper in my OfficeJet Pro 9135e --

Really nice paper - Not cheap (costs more than standard office paper types / weights) -

Clean, well maintained 9135e printer combined with this paper produces an excellent print result.

No curling at the indoor humidity used in my example (49%).
