HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5075 All-in-One Printer

Though there is paper in tray, I keep getting the message to load paper.

Rarely it detects and prints one sheet but that's rare.

@Adi0302, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5075 All-in-One Printer

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5075 printer is having trouble detecting the paper in the tray. Here are some troubleshooting steps to fix this issue:

Check Paper Condition & Alignment

  • Ensure the paper is properly loaded in the tray, aligned correctly, and not too tight against the guides.
  • Fan the stack of paper to prevent sheets from sticking together.
  • Make sure you're using standard paper (not wrinkled, damp, or glossy).

Clean the Paper Pick Rollers

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Remove the paper tray and locate the rubber rollers.
  • Dampen a lint-free cloth with distilled water and gently clean the rollers.
  • Let them dry completely before reinserting the tray.

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for 1-2 minutes.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Try printing again.

Adjust Paper Settings

  • On your printer’s display or HP Smart app, check the paper size and type settings.
  • Make sure they match the paper loaded in the tray.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Visit HP Support and check if there’s a firmware update for your printer.

Run HP Print & Scan Doctor

  • Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor from HP website to diagnose and fix any software issues.

Let me know how it goes!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Thanks for the hints tried it but issue still persists. How can I get a technician visit home to fix this.

@Adi0302, I appreciate you trying those steps, considering that didn't help, it's most likely a hardware malfunction and I suggest you contact the nearest service center: HP® Service Center Locator - India | HP® Support as we don't have an option for technician visit.
