Product: HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One Printer

I am getting a 'paper jam" error message despite attending to all the trouble shooting options of removing jammed paper (which there was initially), cleaning all the rollers, resetting the printer, checking for driver updates on my HP Officejet Pro 8610.

When I restart the printer I can hear a tiny squeak sound then the rollers moving while it connects to wifi.

It's a great printer but out of warranty so the question has to be asked, is it worth taking it somewhere to get fixed?
