Where does the error say the jam is?

Rear door area messages:

This engine series has an issue where a piece of paper gets stuck in the fuser area and is nearly impossible to see but will trigger a jam error. If you can see any paper residue anywhere near the fuser that will likely be the case. The challenge is sometimes you need to remove the fuser to see. Youtube has many videos on how to remove the fuser and those would be the steps you would need to take.

Other area messages can be triggered by a stuck flag in the paper pickup assembly. For this the easiest way to see is to remove all the toners, remove the paper tray and tip the printer onto to left side, be careful not to let the scanner or adf snap open as it can damage the hinges. Look around the pickup roller at the back of the tray cavity for some grey rollers and make sure there is no paper debris there.
