So the paper is so jammed the input tray will not come out. Open the top and no paper. If I look at the bottom of the printer I can see the paper but don’t know how to remove. Your help is very much appreciated. It is an HP 7302. Thanks.

Hi @Chip1959,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding resolving a paper jam on HP 7302!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Turn Off the Printer: Before you begin, turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source to ensure safety.
Access the Jammed Paper:
- Open the printer's top cover to check for any accessible paper.
- If the paper isn't visible from the top, gently pull out the input tray to see if you can remove any fragments or loose paper.
Remove the Jammed Paper from the Bottom:
- Carefully tilt the printer to access the bottom area.
- If you see the paper at the bottom but cannot reach it from the input tray, use a flashlight and a pair of tweezers to gently pull out the paper. Be careful not to tear the paper.
Use the Manual Paper Path:
- Locate any manual knobs or levers that might help in releasing the jammed paper. Some HP printers have a manual paper path access panel for clearing jams.
Check for Remaining Fragments:
- Inspect all accessible areas for any small paper pieces that might be left behind. Even small fragments can cause future jams.
Reassemble and Test:
- Once cleared, reassemble all components, plug the printer back in, and turn it on.
- Run a test print to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
I hope this helps.
