Product: Color Laser Jet Pro M454dw

Error message is “Paper jammed inside the printer. Open the rear door and clear any jammed paper. Error Code: 13.09.14” 

 

Upon opening the rear door, crumpled paper was partially sticking out from the fuser (I.e., near the top of the rear). In trying to pull out the paper, I saw the paper tear, leaving about a half-sheet inside and nothing sticking out.  

Suggestions for clearing the jam would be much appreciated.

The design on this print engine is such that a severe jam usually requires disassembly to safely remove the jam.
