@CN1BM8D0Y7, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
We see that your HP Ink Tank Wireless 416 printer isn't taking paper in when you try to print. That usually points to a problem with the paper feed system. Let’s go step by step to fix it:
- Power Cycle the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Wait for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Use Proper Paper:
- Make sure you’re using plain A4 paper, not glossy, curled, folded, or damp sheets.
- Stack no more than 50 sheets in the input tray.
- Paper Loaded Correctly?
- Tap the stack of paper on a flat surface to align the edges.
- Load it snugly against the right side of the tray.
- Slide the paper width guide in so it touches the left edge of the paper (but not too tightly).
Clean the Paper Rollers:
Sometimes the rollers get dusty and can't grip the paper properly.
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the rear access door (or paper path cover).
- Look for the paper pick rollers (rubber rollers).
- Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water to clean the rollers.
- Rotate them manually to clean the full surface.
- Let them dry for 10 minutes before turning the printer back on.
Check for Jammed or Stuck Paper:
Even tiny pieces of stuck paper can block the mechanism.
- Remove all paper from the input tray.
- Check both front and rear access areas for any bits of paper.
- Use a flashlight if needed to see inside.
Reset the Printer:
- With the printer on, unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Reconnect and power on. Try printing again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
