Hi @Tagore001,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the paper jam in your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Remove Jammed Paper:
- Carefully check the interior of the printer for any stuck or jammed paper and remove it. Make sure there are no torn pieces left inside.
Check Paper Alignment:
- Ensure that the paper is properly aligned in the paper tray. It should be straight and not bent or crumpled.
Use Quality Paper:
- Make sure you are using the recommended paper type and quality for your printer. Avoid using paper that's too thick or thin.
Inspect Paper Feed Rollers:
- Examine the paper feed rollers for any debris or dirt. Clean them gently with a lint-free cloth if necessary.
Avoid Overloading the Tray:
- Do not overfill the paper tray. Ensure there's enough space for the paper to move freely.
Printer and Driver Updates:
- Check for any firmware or driver updates for your printer and laptop. Updating to the latest version may resolve compatibility issues.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in. Power it on and try printing again.
I hope this helps.
