Papers are overlapping in printer

Works great for printing one page at a time. When I try to print more than one page the printing overlaps on the first few pages.

Which model and how old? This type of issue is often caused by a worn separation pad or a sticking feed solenoid. If you listen to the printer as it is trying to print if you hear a repetitive noise that would indicate that the pickup assembly is rotating more than once to pickup a page and therefore grabbing additional pages and this is a sign of a sticking solenoid. If you only hear one rotation but multiple pages exit that is an indication that either the separation pad is bad or your media is sticking together, sometimes glue from the paper package gets on the edge of the paper and makes it stick together. Fanning your paper stack will usually show you if glue is the issue. Otherwise you will need to replace the separation pad/roller depending on device.
