My printer shows an E4 code (paper jam, I believe) when I try to print. The paper goes in half way, then seems to look crooked and stops. I can hear the printer trying to pull the rest of the paper in, but it wont go. I made sure there are no other jams anywhere.

If you have already performed the steps from the document 'E4' Error Displays (Paper Jam) and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
