Product: HP Smart Tank Plus 651

My HP Smart Tank Plus 651 had a paper jam, removed the paper but now the carriage head is slamming from side to side. It is not obstructed and I have wiped the sensor strip clean. What else can I do?

If you have cleaned the sensor strip and still have the same issue, that would suggest that the sensor has failed on the carriage assembly unless you damaged the sensor strip when cleaning it. How did you clean it?

I used a glasses cleaning cloth, and when that did not work, a lightly dampened cotton cloth. I read in another thread that it could be slightly knocked out of places, but I can’t open it enough to see or fix that, because the screws are in deep holes that none of my screwdrivers will fit in.
