Printer not printing

I need help. I just bought a brand new printer and right now it's not printing at all. It says printer needs users attention. I tried to do a diagnostic test but it wouldnt even print that. A few days ago, my power went out while i was printing and ever since i have been having problems.  At that time i had to remove it and add it again but for some reason we had a few problems but we got it to work again. Tonight we were printing stickers and went to print again and it stopped again. So i tried several things. Checked the errors in the services area and then did the print logs.  Restarted my comptuter. It said something about out of paper but it has paper in it. I was able to do a info sheet but i cant print anything myself.   I thought maybe it was the paper i was using but idk. We have been printing stickers. I use card stock also. I powered it off and back on. didnt help. I dont know what to do. 

It might be my computer maybe idk. I was able to get it to print something off my phone

I think it my computer for sure. I can print from my phone and last night about a hour after i stop doing everything the printer just started printing? Would using a usb cable and connecting to my computer help?
