HP OfficeJet Pro 8028e All-in-One Printer

Hi there,

My printer had a paper jam. After fixing it, I now get a message saying that the paper tray is open even when it is clearly closed. I tried turning power off, waiting, then turning on again but that did not work.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 

 

I see that you are facing tray open error.


The reason why this is happening is because the tray might have a small piece broken that isn't covering the sensor.

Thanks for your suggestion. I don’t see any thing broken on the paper tray if my 8028e. Can you look at these pics and tell me if you see anything broken?
