Hi @BCMREDX,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing a paper jam issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 printer. Paper jams can be frustrating, but there are some steps you can take to try to resolve the problem.

  • Turn Off the Printer: First, turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. This ensures your safety while you work on clearing the jam.
  • Access the Paper Path: Open the printer's cover or access door to get a clear view of the paper path. Check for any visible jammed paper. If you can see any, gently remove it by pulling it in the direction of the paper path. Be careful not to tear the paper, and make sure to remove all bits of it.
  • Check the Paper Tray: Remove the paper tray and check for any jammed paper there. Also, make sure the paper in the tray is not damaged or too tightly stacked. Fan the paper to ensure it's not sticking together.
  • Check the Rear Access Panel: Some printers have a rear access panel that can be opened to access the paper path. Check if your printer has one and open it carefully to inspect for any jammed paper.
  • Clean the Rollers: Paper jams can sometimes be caused by dirty or worn-out rollers. Clean the rollers with a lint-free cloth dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol. Make sure they are completely dry before putting them back in.
  • Reset the Printer: After clearing the jam, plug the printer back in, turn it on, and reset it. This can often clear any error messages.
  • Check for Sensors: Some printers have sensors that detect paper movement. Ensure that there are no tiny bits of paper or debris blocking these sensors.
  • Check for Foreign Objects: It's possible that something other than paper, like a paperclip or a small object, got stuck in the paper path. Inspect the entire path carefully.
  • Use the Self-Help Options: Your printer might have a self-help or diagnostics menu that can guide you through the paper jam clearing process. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to access and use this feature.
  • Update Firmware: Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve issues like false paper jam errors. Check HP's official website for any available firmware updates for your printer model.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
