I’ve been having issues with trying to print photos of any size on my 7300 photo printer. I can print A4 documents fine however, when trying to print photos, the paper won’t feed, I get an error displayed saying ‘out of paper’. If the paper does feed, it comes out blank or gets jammed. I’ve tried following all the steps of restating and cleaned all the heads, nothing has worked.

Hi, thanks for the response.
Yes, I’ve tried changing the settings and sizes. It seems as though it’s the photo tray that doesn’t work. I’ve tried the main tray with photo paper and that prints fine however it will only print A4. I’ve tried with 5x7” photo paper, and I select that size on the printing options when printing however it cuts half the imagine off.

Does the paper orientation make a difference, like long side or short side first?
Also to be clear, you are changing the settings on the printer and in software?
I am not familiar with that particular printer, but I know sometimes the paper can get pushed in too far or not enough on those multipurpose trays, and that can cause issues. You might look into cleaning or replacing the photo tray rollers, if it's trying to pull the paper and its slipping, the timing will be off and that can show up as a paper jam or a blank page because it's not where it's expecting it to be in the paper path.
