We can guess...

Some of the places to check / recheck / set or adjust settings include:

• The printer must be aware of the change in paper size.  Reference > Tray and Paper
• The full driver printer software should be installed
• The paper size (envelope size) must be supported -- or might need to be set as a Custom Paper Size form.
• The "no paper" might be a response to incompatible settings.
• The "no paper" message might indicate the Source (Tray) was not selected in the job settings.
