HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer

Good afternoon!  I am trying to print on sticker paper. It is matte paper and not vinyl, but it is thick like cardstock. I am wondering if there is a setting I need to change to get the paper to feed through? Or is there a different tray for thicker paper? It keeps saying the printer is jamming and then does not print at all. The same image works on regular paper. Thank you!

Welcome to the HP User Community.

The printer does not support CardStock.

In truth, the printer does not support "Sticker Paper".

If, however, your paper meets the basic requirements for size, type, AND weight,

You might be able to print your sticker paper...

True (actual) Cardstock might be made from Bond or Cover paper

The paper weight for this type of paper might be 276 gsm - perhaps a bit more or less.

This "card stock" is far too heavy for most "domestic" printers (those devices used for home and small business).

Although not specifically listed in the Media type list, the printer likely supports a lighter "Index card" paper to 200 gsm.

Note...

If you don't have a "Card", or "Thick Paper" selection,

AND

The paper is a supported size AND falls within the 200 gsm weight range,

(then)

Brochure / Professional paper is typically 180 gsm -

Use one of these as a paper type if your paper is within the 180 to 200 gsm range.
