Hi @SoniaPena,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand when dealing with a small piece of torn paper stuck deep inside the printer, here are some steps you can follow to safely remove it:
Turn off the Printer: Ensure the printer is completely turned off before attempting to remove the paper. This prevents any potential damage to the printer or injury to yourself.
Open the Printer Cover: Carefully open the printer cover or any accessible compartments where paper usually passes through. Refer to the printer's manual for specific instructions on how to access the paper path.
Use a Flashlight: Since the paper is stuck deep inside, using a flashlight can help you locate the exact position of the paper fragment. Shine the light into the printer to get a clear view of the obstruction.
Use Tweezers or Needle-Nose Pliers: Once you've located the paper, gently try to grasp it with a pair of tweezers or needle-nose pliers. Be very careful not to damage any internal components of the printer while doing this.
Pull the Paper Out: Slowly and carefully pull the paper fragment out of the printer. Avoid applying excessive force, as this could cause further damage.
Check for Remaining Fragments: After removing the visible fragment, inspect the printer thoroughly to ensure there are no other pieces of paper stuck inside. Use the flashlight to check all areas of the paper path.
Close the Printer Cover: Once you're certain that all paper fragments have been removed, securely close the printer cover or any compartments you opened earlier.
Turn the Printer On: After everything is securely closed, turn the printer back on and perform a test print to ensure that it is functioning properly.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
